Holy Trinity Church, Torbryan, in Devon, is filled with colour.
The most splendid part of this church is the rood screen, dating from c. 1470-80, spanning the entire width of the church from wall to wall. 40 out of 44 original painted panels survive, presenting visitors with an unusual procession of lesser-known saints, as well as apostles and angels.
We are currently fundraising to conserve woodwork across our estate via our Annual Appeal, Timber and Tradition.
